Joel Mieses, RA is an architect and founding member of VANOMA. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Daytona Beach, FL, he earned his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture from Florida A&M University. A Registered Architect since 2021, Joel now focuses on residential and light commercial projects in the Richmond, VA area. He is active in his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., his church, and in mentoring future architects through teaching, VANOMA, and community outreach. Joel and his wife are raising four children.
